Harry Potter 8 - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

The fantasy movie Harry Potter - part 1 and the Deathly Hallows, which was released in 2010, was made by David Yates and distributed by Warner Bros. It is the seventh installment in the Harry Potter film series and the first of two cinematic portions based on J. K. Rowling's 2007 novel of the same name. It has an ensemble cast and was written by Steve Kloves. It was produced by David Heyman, David Barron, and Rowling.

Daniel Radcliffe plays Harry Potter in the movie, and Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger are played by Rupert Grint and Emma Watson in their respective roles. The final book in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, comes after it. It is the sequel to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from 2009. (2011).

The plot centers on Harry Potter, who is tasked by Dumbledore with locating and destroying Lord Voldemort's Horcruxes—his key to immortality. The first day of filming was February 19, 2009, and it ended on June 12, 2010. On November 19, 2010, Part 1 was made available in 2D and IMAX formats worldwide. Critics gave the movie favorable reviews, praising the acting, cinematography, special effects, and musical score.

Part 1 of the movie made $330 million on its first weekend in theaters throughout the world, which ranks as the third-highest opening in the series, the highest of 2010, and the eighth-highest of all time. Part 1 has a $977 million worldwide gross, placing it third in the 2010 box office behind Toy Story 3 and Alice in Wonderland. It is also the third-highest-grossing Harry Potter movie overall, behind Deathly Hallows: Part 2 and Philosopher's Stone (2001). Additionally, it was nominated for Best Art Direction and Best Visual Effects at the 83rd Academy Awards.

From February 19 to June 12, 2010, Part 1 and Part 2 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows were shot back-to-back. Part 1 was "very authentic," a "road movie" that is "almost like a vérité documentary," according to director David Yates, who co-directed the movie with director of photography Eduardo Serra.

The novel was originally intended for a single theatrical release, but executive producer Lionel Wigram proposed splitting it into two parts owing to a "creative imperative," as David Heyman put it. Heyman first opposed the notion, but Wigram questioned, "Sorry, David. How will we accomplish this? ". He concurred with the division during a second reading of the novel and a discussion with screenwriter Steve Kloves.

The Dartford Crossing served as the backdrop for the action-packed chase scene in which Hagrid and Harry are ambushed by Death Eaters.

For the final two episodes, Stuart Craig—the same set designer who worked on all of the previous Harry Potter movies—returned. "We made a totally unusual kind of picture, which was shot largely on location," he claimed. They spent a lot of time in a forest, and we traveled quite a distance and erected sets. The facade is modeled by an Elizabethan home in this country called Hardwick Hall, which features large windows that are somewhat obscured. The base for a good exterior was provided by the shutters, which are drawn so that they resemble blind windows and have a real kind of presence.

Another method used to increase the sense of danger and mystery is the addition of an astonishing magical ceiling that is surrounded by woodland but isn't actually there.

Jany Temime, who has been the costume designer on Harry Potter productions since Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, created the outfits for Part 1. (2004). Regarding her work on Fleur Delacour's wedding dress, Temime became embroiled in a controversy. She was charged with stealing the style of a dress that looked identical from Alexander McQueen's Fall 2008 collection.

Double Negative was asked to create the visual effects for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2, after contributing to every movie since Prisoner of Azkaban. The crew was led by VFX Supervisor David Vickery and VFX Producer Charlotte Loughlane, who worked closely with the movie's VFX Supervisor Tim Burke. Sean Stranks, the 2D Supervisor, and Rick Leary, the 3D Supervisor, made comprised the core group.

Like in earlier films, the majority of the creature CGI was created by the visual effects studio Framestore. Ben Hibon directed and designed the animated Tale of the Three Brothers scene. Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince's music was composed by Nicholas Hooper, who did not work on Deathly Hallows. Instead, the score for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 was written by Alexandre Desplat. The Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds song "O Children" was also included in the movie.

At the 83rd Academy Awards, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 received nominations for Best Art Direction and Best Visual Effects. It is the second movie in the Harry Potter series to get a Visual Effects Oscar nomination (the previous one being Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban). The movie was nominated for Best Special Visual Effects and Make-up after being long-listed for eight additional categories at the 64th BAFTA awards, including Best Cinematography, Production Design, and Original Score.

While looking for the sword in Godric's Hollow, Harry and Hermione stumble upon the same odd sign in a cemetery. They are welcomed into the home of elderly historian Bathilda Bagshot, where they discover a picture of the young man from Harry's dream who stole a wand from wandmaker Gregorovitch. Harry is attacked by Bathilda as she transforms into Nagini, Voldemort's serpent. Hermione saves them by making them disappear, but she unintentionally breaks Harry's wand with her rebounding spell.

Hermione recognizes Gellert Grindelwald, the evil wizard, as the man in the picture. The following evening, a patronus doe directs Harry to a frozen pond where Gryffindor's sword is submerged. The necklace around Harry's neck tightens as he falls into the chilly water, choking him. Harry is saved when Ron shows up and grabs the sword. With the sword, they cut down the locket Horcrux. The Deluminator guided Ron to their location, as Ron explains.

Upon visiting Xenophilius Lovegood, Harry, Ron, and Hermione find that the symbol stands for the Deathly Hallows. Many years ago, the Elder Wand, the most potent wand known, and the Resurrection Stone, three brothers each won a reward that evades Death. One becomes the Master of Death when they possess all three. In an effort to trade Harry for a captured Luna, Xenophilius surreptitiously summons the Death Eaters. The three manage to flee, but Snatchers seize them. Harry has a vision of an elderly Grindelwald telling Voldemort that Dumbledore and the Elder Wand are interred together.

The Gryffindor sword, which Bellatrix Lestrange thought was in her Gringotts vault, is found at Malfoy Manor by a Snatcher. In the cellar, where Harry and Ron are imprisoned, they run into Luna, Ollivander, and Griphook. Bellatrix torments Hermione upstairs. Dobby responds to Harry's plea for assistance by appearing, saving everyone as Harry retrieves their stolen wands from Draco Malfoy. Harry uses a mirror shard in which he thinks he caught a glimpse of Dumbledore. Bellatrix tosses a knife, murdering Dobby as they vanish. In close proximity to Bill and Fleur's Order safe house, Harry inters him. Voldemort is currently taking the Elder Wand from Dumbledore's tomb.
