Harry Potter 2 - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Streaming & Download Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Based on J. K. Rowling's 1998 book of the same name, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a fantasy film released in 2002 by Warner Bros. Pictures and directed by Chris Columbus. The second installment of the Harry Potter film series was written by Steve Kloves, and David Heyman oversaw its production. Daniel Radcliffe plays Harry Potter in the movie, and Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger are played by Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, respectively.

The narrative centers on Harry's second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, during which the Heir of Salazar Slytherin opens the Chamber of Secrets and lets loose a terrifying monster that terrifies the pupils. This movie is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone's follow-up (2001).

Three days following the first movie's release, in November 2001, principal photography got under way. The movie had a $100 million budget and was finished filming in July 2002. On November 3, 2002, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets had its London premiere. On November 15, 2002, it received a theatrical release in the UK and the US.

After The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, the movie was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2002 with $879 million in worldwide box office receipts. It was commended for having a story suitable for a youthful audience with a darker theme. The duration of this movie is the longest in the group. Numerous prizes, including the BAFTA Award for Best Production Design, Best Sound, and Best Special Visual Effects, were among those for which it was nominated. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban came next (2004).

Stuart Craig, the original film's production designer, returned to create additional aspects for the sequel. Based on Arthur Weasley's fascination with Muggles, he created the Burrow, which was constructed vertically from architectural remnants. A 1962 Ford Anglia 105E was converted into Mr. Weasley's flying vehicle. The largest set built for the saga was The Chamber of Secrets, which was almost 76 meters (249 feet) long and 36.5 meters (119.8 feet) broad. The Sorting Hat and the Sword of Gryffindor are kept in Dumbledore's office, which was constructed just for the movie.

The film's visual effects were completed on October 9, 2002, after a nine-month production period. About 950 visual effect shots were handled by Industrial Light & Magic, Mill Film, the Moving Picture Company (MPC), Cinesite, and Framestore CFC for the movie. The music for Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was composed by John Williams, who also did the music for the previous movie. Williams had just finished scoring Minority Report and Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones when work on Catch Me If You Can was set to begin, making it a challenging challenge to compose the movie.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' circumstances necessitated significantly more elaborate sound effects than those in the previous installment. Randy Thom, who previously worked on the first film's sound design and co-supervised sound editing, returned for the sequel and used Pro Tools to finish the project, with primary work done at Shepperton Studios in England and original ideas made at Skywalker Sound in California. Thom utilized his own voice, slowed down, equalized, and bass-boosted, to give the Whomping Willow a voice—a deep growl. In order to "create it just unusual enough so that you think, 'Hmm, I've never heard anything quite like that before,'" he blended baby cries with female screams for the mandrakes.
