Streaming & Download Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Based on the same-named 2000 novel, Mike Newell's 2005 fantasy picture Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is released by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the fourth installment in the Harry Potter film series and the sequel to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004). It was produced by David Heyman and written by Steve Kloves. Along with Emma Watson and Rupert Grint playing Harry Potter's best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, respectively, the movie stars Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter. In it, Harry is chosen by the Goblet of Fire to participate in the Triwizard Tournament during his fourth year at Hogwarts.
The film's worldwide premiere was held on November 18, 2005, and principal photography started in early 2004. The North American box office took in more than US$102 million five days after its debut, making it the third-highest opening weekend total for a Harry Potter movie, behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts 1 and 2. Goblet of Fire, the highest-grossing movie of 2005 and the sixth-highest-grossing movie in the franchise, had a phenomenal box office run, earning $896 million worldwide.
The movie received a BAFTA Award for Best Production Design and an Academy Award nomination for Best Art Direction. The second movie in the series to be released in IMAX was Goblet of Fire. One of the greatest reviews of the series, the movie is acclaimed for the lead actors' performances as well as the more mature and sophisticated characters, plot, tone, and writing. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix came after it in 2007.
Dumbledore maintains that Voldemort killed Cedric at the end-of-term feast, although the Ministry disputes this. For Goblet of Fire, costume designer Jany Temime made a comeback. French blue silk, which stood out from the other schools' subdued hues, was used by Temime to create the Beauxbatons' outfits. In stark contrast to the constrictive uniforms worn by the Hogwarts girls, the cloth of the military uniforms "clings to their body." Philip Treacy, a milliner, created the hat. The Durmstrang wore heavy wool clothing, crimson robes, and capes and caps made of fur. Temime was influenced by Russian and Habsburg folklore. Temime produced more than 300 costumes for the Yule Ball.
Hermione's outfit, which took three months to produce, was intended to be a "fairy-tale dress," balancing "sweetness and appeal" while being "quite prudish" and making it "somewhat seductive" yet still suitable for an adolescent. The crew who created Moody's coat spent a week "aging and deteriorating the coat to give it a lifetime worth of use" in the style of spaghetti westerns.
Due to a packed schedule, John Williams, who had composed the music for the first three Harry Potter movies, was unable to score the fourth installment. He was replaced as composer by Patrick Doyle, who had previously collaborated with Newell on Into the West and Donnie Brasco. Doyle was first asked to work with Williams' material, but ultimately just "Hedwig's Theme," the series' leitmotif, was left from the earlier scores.

The Champions' third assignment involves navigating a huge maze to get to the Triwizard Cup at its center. When Harry and Cedric reach the Cup, they discover it is actually a Portkey that will take them to a cemetery. Cedric is killed by Pettigrew at Voldemort's command. He then brings Voldemort back to life, calling for his Death Eaters. The spirits of Voldemort's earlier victims arrive and divert Voldemort long enough for Harry to use the Cup to return to Hogwarts with Cedric's body. Voldemort attempts to use the Killing Curse on Harry, but the latter deflects it.
Harry tells Dumbledore that Voldemort killed Cedric. Harry is hauled by Moody to his office, where he is astonished to discover that Moody entered him for the Tournament and was working with him to ensure Voldemort's reappearance. Dumbledore, Snape, and Minerva McGonagall overpower Moody before he tries to kill Harry. By utilizing Veritaserum, they discover that the real Moody is being held captive in a magical trunk while Barty Crouch Jr. was caught using Polyjuice Potion to impersonate Moody. Returning Crouch Jr. to Azkaban.
